NPP (Osko)

NPP enables near real-time payments directly into the recipient’s account. It supports an enriched description field of up to 280 characters, including special characters, allowing beneficiaries to receive more detailed payment information than other payment rails.

While most payments are instant, some may return a ‘Pending’ status, indicating that confirmation from the beneficiary’s bank is still in progress.

NPP payments can be made to Australian bank accounts via our Execute a Transaction endpoint to a BSB and account number or a PayID using the NppCreditBankAccount or NppCreditPayId disbursement methods.

To receive updates when a paymentis finalised, subscribe to the NppPaymentStatus webhook or call the Get Transaction Status By Unique Reference.
