There are several public endpoints exposed that do not require authentication to access. No request body is required for any of these endpoints.

### [Ping](docId:8iWyslfS9OEn27jQ4b8fi) 

The ping API is used to validate that the system is up and running by returning a simple status message.

### [Webhook Signing Certificate](docId\:EMVf9oS-EnjFwYf6WcmYZ) 

This endpoint returns the current X.509 certificate, which contains the public key that you can use to verify messages sent by Monoova.

The certificate returned is short-lived (1-year validity) and should be updated accordingly.

### [Retrieve Public Key](docId\:V3hlGAxJV62IpdwOUzAtl) 

This endpoint returns the public key used by Monoova to sign messages.The public key is encoded as a hexadecimal string.

This public key is changed annually and should be updated accordingly.
